they can be whatever. its called a bou·ton·niere for the one you get for the guy- usually a rose or carnation. the girl/wrist version is a corsage-also whatever, usually carnations or roses with baby's breath. the cost depends on what kind of flowers you get.

The arrangement is called a wrist corsage. You can get it at any floral shop and at most grocery and walmart floral sections this time of year. Best to order ahead to gaurantee color, type of flower and timeliness!
Price varies according to size and flower. I had three white roses with decor and it was about $15... The guy is supposed to buy his own flower too!!
