If you can sew, what's the difference between adjusting your employers garter belts or curtains. You are obviously hired to do odd jobs, and it is a lot easier having a domestic employee adjust a garter belt rather than take them to the tailor. I always adjust my garter belts before I wear them. The straps are usually too long, and most are too big, but luckily I have a sewing machine and adjust them myself.
If I Had a Maid, she would be adjusting them, along with my skirt hems, and pants.

noooooo!!don't you know that all female employers need their garter belts adjusted??!!some need their bras adjusted!!!
