Need help with Numbers on a 1968 Barracuda ? Have Tag.?

OK, I'm not a Mopar guy but I have found one that I need help with.... If anyone has a book to look up the Data Tag....??

THey tell me its a 383 Car. Engine on the Floor has codes also

For simplicity lets take the Vin First some ot this info will be repeated on the metal fender tag anyway...

1st digit B = Barracuda (A -Body)
2nd digit H = High Price Class
3rd & 4th 23 = 2 dr hard top...
5th digit H - 383 1-4BBL 8 Cylinder "B" engine (High Performance)

6th digit 8 is the year verifier 1968 model
7th digit B - Hamtramck, Michigan this is plant where that carwas manufactured this is also considered to be Chryslers main plant...

Remaining numbers of the VIN are strictly the sequence # of what # your car was to roll off the assembly line...

on your second line FYI the tag says GG! (not 661) that is the original paint color it is called

"Forest Green Poly") poly means its a metallic and so this is a dark green metallic... auto color library show a exaple of the color here...

the 062 on 1str line from bottom verifies engine as
062 383-4bbl-hp

005 = 3 spd auto trans

038 = e70x14 wsw is tires it should have came with

A19 = ???

double check some of your fender tag some of it not making sense compare with the Year one example

As for the other numbers I need to know the numbers and letters they are under.
2 line is #1-8, AX, TRM,PNT,USB
3line is A-Z
4 line a-x
As for the block I will have to look it up.

1-9 = wide sill moldings, 2-5 = drip rail moldings, 7-8 = wheel lip moldings, AX A-4 = 3.23 ratio, X-8 = sure grip rear end, TRM T-D = Deluxe, R-6 =vinyl bucket seats, M-F = Green, PNT, P-6 = Dark Green Metallic color of roof, N-6 =Dark Green Metallic Color of the body, T-1 = Monotone paint
UBS, U-6 = Green, .
Third line I'm guessing here?
D-9 = front disk brakes, F-7 = Formula S package, H-1 = power brakes, R-1 = AM radio, Y-4 = Green vinyl top, 24?
fourth line
a-6 = console, b-4 = bucket seats, u-1 = Built car (someone ordered it).
