i got a 15x12 edge to edge screen on a laptop and i am planning on putting a image on the back side! on ebay they sell custom skins but i think they are asking to much for them! so i decided i can make one for really cheap! i don't need to cover edge to edge! the size of the image i am going to put is 8x10 i was thinking sticker paper but don't know if it will damage my notebook and if it will hold up! any one got any ideas how i could make one? i was thinking on glue (paper stick kind) but again issue with damaging backside!!! planning on doing ps2/ps3!

Due not glue anything to the back of your laptop. The edges of this "skin' that you are creating will eventually peel back and reveal the ugly glue residue, and whenever you decide to remove this or if you sell it the glue will be nearly impossible to remove. If anything sticker paper, might be the best option if you're hell-bent on doing it yourself. Usually they use a window-decal type of vinyl material on the ones that you would purchase online. I say if you're really concerned about damaging your laptop, then bite the bullet and absorb the cost. It's better safe than sorry.
