yes, i remember having a party line with an operator, if you didn't know the number you just asked the operator and she would connect you....... and you had a certain ring-- 1 ring, then 2 was ours, the neighbors had 1 then 3, sometimes we'd pick up and listen......

Never had a pager nor do I have a cell phone. Like the quality time. Saw a judge hold a guy in contempt of court because he got a call! I do not think that cell phones or pagers should be legal for the general public other than a doctor. I see grade school kinds getting off the bus talking on their cell. What a waste! Then they probably ask for homework help because they are too lazy to study.

Oh, I had forgotten about my pager! lol , I use to get so excited when it would go off. I thought that was the best thing ever! until I got my cell,lol

Yes...and I remember having to use a pencil to rotate the dial on the home phone so I wouldn't break my fingernails too

not really but i remember the time when no one in my old school had cellphones. now all they do is brag that they do and they text each other in class when they're only 2 feet away. kinda gay. i'm not saying that cause I don't have one at the moment but at least at my new school cellphones aren't the fad

omg,lol,thats funny,yes I do,and I remember times before satellite,cd's,gee,I remember when cassettes came out,and how awesome that was,because I only had records,so it was a big deal,crap,I remember when answering machines came out,lol....
