You should begin by asking him what player he likes because you may end up sending him a trade involving one of the guys you really like, and he may not even like that same guy. After that, work around his needs. You should be willing to give up one of your top 5 guys because Pujols is a really solid player. However, I wouldn't give up a pitcher because then the trade would turn into a trade for pitching as well as hitting. Stick to trading for one aspect at a time. You also shouldn't give up A-Rod because he was your first round draft pick and you should never trade those guys.

Honestly people value you him to high. The guy you are trading will want a top position player and pitcher most likely. I would offer a crapshoot the 1st time of Igawa and Sheffield. You have a good pitching rotation without him. But you can't really give up more than 1 pitcher. Don't give up a closer since your not well off. Your deepest spots are 3rd and 1st. But before you make a trade ask yourself will I be able to utilize all my players. If you give up pitching only then you will have 2 of these guys a-rod, aramis, or delgado on the bench. You will not win a league with 2 of your top 4 picks on the bench. A honest trade I would offer his weakness probably 3rd (so Aramis) and Daisuke. That should be the top offer you make. Don't mention you want AP and offer crap and work your way up until he is desparate for someone and you can find out who he really wants. If you can throw another player with AP and get better at mid infield I suggest you try since you are very weak there.

I would definetly send Aramis Ramirez. I think I would also send Delgado, but in addition to pujols ask for an 2B like a Howie kendrick, Brandon Phillips, Iguchi, or Barfield. If he's not willing to budge tell him to forget about it. Then, make him come to you. Worst case senario you'll have a solid team. Hope this helped.
Just a side note- pick up Ian Kinsler, and drop Igawa

It certainly should not be vetoed, it particularly is a honest commerce. even nevertheless your SP is dazzling, i does no longer pick to take a danger with a action picture star participant, that being Pujols. even nevertheless he's been on hearth this spring, you never be attentive to. somewhat, i could try Peavy for Howard. If he needs Santana somewhat of Peavy, then i could do it because of the fact Santana and Peavy particularly are not separated by skill of plenty. wish I helped!

Offer Delgado and Brad Penny. If that doesn't work, throw in someone else you don't like.
