One of my very close friends just disapeared one day 2 months ago....didnt tell anyone he was leaving and just moved...i think about him every day and cry myself to sleep EVERY night listening to songs about missing people........yeah this kid left quite an effect on me......i like listening to sad songs about missing people.....i think it helps me get out my pain from losing him........so anyone got any really good ones? no old cheesy songs either.....just good contemporary ones. thanks

"Miss you love" by Australian Band 'silverchair' is a good sad song.
"Patricks Song" by 'Shawn Mullins' is about how his childhood friend died suddenly.
"With or Without You" by U2 is a classic sad song that makes me cry.
All three are very emotional.
