In my home , I'd have to say yes.
I got rid of TV 20 years ago and never missed it.
But we now 6 computer in the house 4 of them on the net

Too true. I no longer own a t.v, When i tell people they don't believe me. I Just say to them the programs on TV are NOT worth the TV licence money anymore.

No. I have skyplus and tape all the programmes I want to see and watch them when I want to. Some for me, some for hubby and some for us together. He watches his while I am playing here or out somewhere and I watch mine when he is out. Then we both snuggle down together to watch the ones we both like. TV has moved on, you don't have to be stuck watching things your partner wants to watch and vice versa. You can now fit it round your lifestyle instead of round the TV.

yeah but only for me i still have it on though even if I'm on my own. my husband doesn't mind cause he gets to watch all the football he wants!!
i can usually concentrate on a few things at once but reading and watching tv don't mix. x
