I think we should bring our troops home from Iraq because they are dying unnecessarily in a civil war between Islamic fascist sects. The solution to this problem is for the Iraqi government to better train their army so that they can stabilize the country.

In Afghanistan on the other hand the situation is different. The Taliban harbored the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 so we have to stay there until they can be stable enough to govern themselves. So I think we should stay in Afghanistan and get out of Iraq because even though Saddam and the Baath Party were horrible people, they did not attack us!

No, I think we should be bringing more troops home. The people in Iraq don't want us there. They talk about all of the good we're doing there and yet our troops are killed for helping women and children. Maybe we are and maybe we're not but I do know that after 5 years of being there I don't feel any safer than I did the day after 9/11 happened.

Iraq-No, because if there was ever a chance to be successful in Iraq, that time has passed.
Afghanistan-Yes, because we had every right to go to war with Afghanistan. In fact Congress should have declared war against Afghanistan after 9/11 when the Taliban government continued to protect Osama bin Laden.

You know even if I thought this war was meaningless and worthless. I would lie and say I didn't because of those troops over there risking their lives in it.

That said I think if they have a reason for sending more troops to those places then yes go ahead and send them

No we should not send more of our military into either of those countries. Iraq is turning more and more like Viet Nam. Afghanistan, we've been there since 2003 and still have not captured Osama bin Laden. Why? Cause he is not there. Why send our military into these areas only to bring them back in body bags? If we send more of our military there, who's going to be here to defend our country when we are attacked? What's the time frame of getting our military back home if we are attacked?

More troops? No. Should we stop fighting a politically correct war? Yes. The only way to win this is to be ruthless. To make them afraid.

there should have never been troops in Iraq so no, but on the other hand if the troops in Afaghanistan are there to catch Bin laden then great, but its not going to happen, Bush never wanted to catch him, and never will.
