With all the musical potential she holds, I just want to shake her! I tried to give her benefit of the doubt after that Denstiny's Child switchero. As her career went on, her weave got longer and blonder as if that makes her beautiful (she doesn't need all that). She attempts to outsing Jennifer on the screen by having a song created for Deena that wasn't in the original, and it backfires. When buzz came out about Jennifer's Vogue cover (they rejected hers for that month), she makes a statement about Sports Illustrated cover (they aren't the same caliber). Then she decides that since she is funding her own videos, she wasn't going to pay her dancers their fees, did an undercut, so many walked. Not to mention when her former bandmate's album began to blow up, then miraculously Beyonce's album release date was pushed up to come out faster. She seems to be conieving when she doesn't have to be. Anyone else stop being her fan? What happened to her, or was she always like that?

Oh and her comments about other people "beneath" her doesn't help. I just wish she would move her career in a more positive direction as big artists like Alicia Keys. She is still beautiful with her clothes on and has music that is positive. And I never heard her belittle others in magazines to make herself look better.

Girl I have to agree...I love DESTINY's CHILD!! I like Beyonce okay but after her statements about gaining 20 lbs to play Effie--its like 'enough already!' Dang Beyonce...you have had your shine for a very extended amount of time...Is she talented? Yes. Pretty? Yes. But her attitude is very lame...she needs to let others have their shine and be graceful about it because she comes across really condescending without being aware of it.
I am laughing at you saying her weaves have gotten blonder and longer! That was funny. I am sure that has to do more with her management and stylists though. Now it looks like she is making her hair darker again lol. Her new album is all over the place with a couple of good songs but is not as half as good as her first solo album.
My problem with her is she is so lost in the fact that she is a celebrity that we do not know her at all as a person. She is almost robotic with no personality or depth. Never can she speak clearly in an interview, I mean dang girl...learn to talk. We never see her sweat, she is never vulnerable and never in the wrong. The second I say I have seen her look better 20 ppl want to say oh thats hating but it really isnt! People are too stuck on her and other celebrities when there are so many other talented artists who look better and sell more records, yet we over look them for pretty faces which is so shallow! I am really on the fence with B right now maybe if she colloborates with Jennifer Hudson I will like her more lol.

I think that Beyonce has changed a lot since her last album. It seems to me like she is rushing everything. The album came out so fast and with the movie coming out nobody really payed her any attention. Sometimes I see her any it's like she gets on my nerves. If its not her in the top spot, then she's trying to cut everyone else down. I dont know if she has always been like this, but it doesn't make me want to pay her any attention at all. Her songs are good, but she slowly but surely going down fast. She not as hot as she used to be. Could it be becasue her father is no longer her manager?

I agree with you completely. Beyonce is overrated, hyped up, overexposed, and overpaid now. I' am so over her, because I don't care for her as an artist to much. Yes, she is beautiful and talented, but she forget where she came from since she started. First, she was genuine and real, now she comes off as fake and conceited. For someone with promising talent in music, all she sells is sex and glam. Beyonce needs to take a break and re-think her career goals and choices. Because when the spotlight is on another young African American female, she tries to get back into the spotlight and get attention. Everybody just hyped her up because she was light skinned and had a great body, but the rest of the members in DC are just as talented and beautiful as she is, for example Kelly Rowland who gets overlooked but has a great voice. I' am not jealousy or hatin on her, but I don't care for her as an artists today.

I know what you mean. I loved her in DC. She is just all made up to be the next selling item. She has talents, don't get me wrong, but I think she is all hype. Dreamgirls had an undiscovered star, Beyonce was an expected star. Boring. She thought she had it bagged anyway. But I'm glad she has a run for her money now...she is just lazy for her fans and too busy to keep it all real now.

I completely agree! In fact i think she had something to do with the original girls leaving Destiny's Child. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see she's a fake. She's way too famous to be a nice person.

Yeah, she seems a little bit conceited. I really hate people like that. I know you're good but God don't say it. That's why I can't stand her 'cause she looks so fake in interviews.

Like my attitude toward all celebrities, I don't really care about the lives of the celebrities. I barely care about what kind of supposedly meaningful projects they work on. I prefer to hold the people around me dearly, rather than trying to live vicariously through people that are stuck-up in most cases.

gah i was just thinking about this today after i saw the upgrade u video.. she kinda chnged. she looks like a slut now and she's not the same role model she used to be for me. i dunno, it seems liike u said, that ever since the whole dreamgirls thing.. she's not that heroeic to me anymore
