What are the most expensive animals, including domestic and exotic.... What is the most expensive dog? And domestic and lists high prices which they can exceed!

Blue whales aren't pets

As for pets- horses would be the most expensive. I live in a place where keeping horses is cheap, but it is still 5,000year. On either Coast of the US, it could reach over 100,000 a year just to board a horse. As for prices, you can get one for free, up to a couple million dollar racehorses.

exotic and legal? Probably sugar gliders. They are usually about $500 each. Most others (the big ones)are not or should not be legal.

dogs- you can find them easily for over $2000 depending on the breed and bloodlines. I read one that sold for 10,000 (I think it was a champion hunting stud dog).

Basically, the price is as high as you can find a buyer for. If you try to sell a mutt for $900, if there is a buyer for it who thinks it is special, they will pay it. Everywhere else, you can get one for under $100. Hehe, I just described a designer dog!

Feline wise I know that Toygers are becoming quite the popular and in demand breed. The average cost is anywhere between $550-$1000. Yes you did in deed read that correctly!

Toygers are a mix between a Bengal feline and I forget the other breed. The are quite exquisite creatures... The most commonly heard thing about Toygers is that they are a designer cat. Shar-Pei wrinkle dogs generally start around $3000 Canadian if they are purebred. Cream colored ones can go for $5000. All purebred Shar-Pei dogs will have a purple tongue.

I can't imagine spending such a large amount of money on a dog, or charging that kind of money for a dog, when children are starving, but some people do...

The most expensive animal is a Blue Whale becuase they are so massive and they are hard to buy. The most expensive dog is anything pure bread because they are most likely a ruined breed as they have been bread with their siblings for many years and you start to get genetic problems along the blood stream.
