if i said that (or thought that) i would feel terrible, and my parents would kill me. Am i the only one who thinks that teens are rude? and disrespectful? BTW I am a teen !! shocking aint it?

for all u people who think I say things like that I NEVER SAID ANY THING BAD TO THEM!!!!!!!! not sh*t nor cr*p....even the mildest, curses. Also, saying "ure embarrasing me" is very rude!!!! Children should never be ebaraased of thir parents. Just imagine- when u were 2 or three and pooped or peed or threw a tantrum in public, your parents didt say "You are embarrasing!" they wouldn't try to pretend that they dont know you...so neither should teens

i think it is disrespectful, and yes i am 13. i just dont have that problem with my parents, if they say no to something, half the time, i dont question it, but i never say anything like ur embarrassing me, or anything.

I would still argue that teens, kids and whats not are still the same nowadays as before. That outcry of how spoiled they are has been rolling over the planet for millenia. Every generation starts it anew. I remember having totaly destructive arguments with my parents and ones a fiest fight with my father. We are fine now and I am a father myself. I hope to avoid extremes in my parenting, but I know for the fact that I wouldn't be able to avoid all the conflict, it is part of the process of growing up, it can be mild or not but always present.

No even picture kids threaten parents or even call them naughty names in public. A couple of years ago you can spank your child out in public. Now you will have social services call on you. I am 20 - and I am best Friends with my mom, I do not know what I would do with out her. I do not want to blame any body for bad parenting, I was so scared to say shut up t my parents. I guess they raised me GREAT, When I was young i would say bad thing bout them behind there back in my mind. I WOULD NEVER EVER say anything like that o my parents especially out in public even when I was young. Kids are no dumb any more they know the laws!

Some things I'm thankful for, and some things I get mad at, it's natural. SometimesI feel bad for bitchin but sometimes I know I have my own opinion. U obviously have parents that never ar up ur *** and never give u a curfew at age 19. I'm19, and just starting to break into the world, I love my parents to death and am soo thankfu, although sometimes my father is drunk, and I can't take it and its understandable which is none of ur business, my mom isthe closest person I'm to, so therefore we see each other so much that we tend to argue. I love the soooo much, and would do anything for them. I also think they should respect my privacy andnot try and control my life at age 19. lata.

I think teens are really rude (not all but most). I never acted like that when i was a teenager. I listened to my parents when they told me to do something or not to do something.
I swear teenagers now act like they could care less when it comes to the wisdom of their parents and how most end up pregnant because they don't have any common sense about birth control. I think parents should be more strict with these teenagers that do act like this.

the rude things which teens have been doing is saying things to adults that are very disrespectful.
in the 1950s kids would get smacked for that.
the parents later on stopped being as responsible and then kids grew to teens, then criminal rates go up.
so i do agree, yet i am a teen too, i respect me elders.

Because most teens are spoiled and since CPS idiots forbid you from taking your kid out to the woodshed to get punished anymore the teens run all over their parents because they know if the parents hit them they can press charges and have their parents in jail in 5 minutes.

Yeah, I agree with you. Kids these days are so rude to their parents. If I said anything like that, I'd be grounded for at least a week. They are almost all spoiled, too...

i dont really think its rude....... i mean some of the stuff my parents do IS embarrassing........ if u knew what my mom was doing now...... u would understand...... and i never curse at my mom or anything like that....... but i dont really think "ur embarrassing me is rude"...... its more of a fact....... and i mean..... come on....... u never said or thought ur parents were embarrassing u????
