You have a couple of on-line options...
but a quick fix yourself.. buy a long tank.. measure the width inside. and go to the hardware store(or even a custom vinyl sign company) and ask for a piece of thicker acrylic that size. Get some Aquarium silicone. and silicone the piece in so that you now have a tall tank with a high side. You can make it as tall as you want, or as short as you want. I make it a little less then half height, that keeps not only the substrate in, but also the crickets in when the screen is open.
You can now put a regular screen you buy for the top on, you can buy the screen clips and they will keep it on even in its new vertical posistion.
If that doesn't work for you, talk with your local store about ordering one.. ... buy one on-line ... both could mean extra shipping costs.
OR you can attend your local reptile Expo (if you have one)
The generally have nice set-ups there. or they have places you can buy them with minimal discount shipping.
look for something like this

There are a couple of options open to you:
There are "tall" aquariums (but not "breeders" though, these are low and wide) but the first one to go over 18" is a 40 gallon tall. This would give your critters plenty of room!
You could look at hexagonal tanks - these are cylindrical with 6 sides and taller than wide, but on the expensive side. (same with a petagon or corner tank)
There are reptile "reptariums" in larger pet stores - sort of like a 20 gallon turned on it's end in size and shape, a sculptured styrofoam backing so it looks sort of like a rock face or tree trunk, but with latching glass doors in the front and a screened top (good for high humidity, little space to put UV, heat lamp, etc.).
You can look up these items in this online catalog - but I'd suggest that if you decide to buy one of these, special order it through your local pet store - that way, they pay the shipping! ;) http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/index.web (glass tanks are on the left side under "Specialty Items" because of shipping weight.

Do a google search for terrariums. They are made more for frogs and geckos than aquariums are. If you want a tall aquarium, keep in mind that it is probably going to be hard to reach into to clean. Most terrariums have a door that opens on the front for easy cleaning. Here is a link to one site. http://www.blackjungle.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=BJTS&Category_Code=T&OVRAW=terrarium&OVKEY=terrarium&OVMTC=standard

You should be able to find what you are looking for at www.glasscages.com. They are often at reptile expos and are known as the dollar a gallon people (to a point). I got a 40 gallon tall from them for my jungle carpet python for $40. Very helpful and easy to deal with.

Taller aquariums are called breeder tanks. Ask someone at whatever place you shop to order you one. Sometimes the breeder tanks are odd sizes though and standard screen lids do not fit them. Chameleon tanks are much higher than ordinary tanks also but one side is screen only. Oceanic makes unusual sized tanks also but theirs cost more. The three major tank manufacturers in the U.S. in this order are: 1. All Glass
2. Perfecto
3. Oceanic
