How do i make the skins on Sims 2 work. i cant get certain things to work on them?

Whenever i download Sims 2 skins the hats, hair, swords, wings, etc never show up. Does any one know?

Hi, it may be because you haven't also downloaded the mesh ... or maybe you haven't enabled the custom content in your game.

You need to download custom "meshes", which are required for some custom content to work. The creators should have links where you can find the meshes if the meshes aren't already included in the zip file. When you download hair, just downloading the colors will not work; either the hair will not show up, or will show incorrectly, so you must download the right mesh file for those hair styles.
