It may be a part of your healing process. C-section is a major surgery and postop pain at the incision site and in other locations like the lower back and side is normal for several weeks but I don't know how long ago you had yours. If analgesics and warm compresses don't help, report this to your OB/Gyn. If your C-section was more than 2 months ago, definitely report this.

When you have an operation it takes a long time to heel. The pulling sensation is caused by healing and is natural.

2 years ago I had major surgery on my bowel. For about 18 months after I could feel this pulling sensation and went to my doctors. He told me that this feeling was actually natural and also good because this was a sign of healing.

If you are worried though, I would go to the doctors, like I did.

Often times the pain you are descibing is related to infection and can be easily fixed with antibiotics. How long ago was you cesarian?

You should see a doctor. I doubt a nerve is involved. Yes nerved are severed in a surgery of that magnitude, but it rarely results in pain. Most often there is a strange feeling or maybe even a numb feeling, but rarely pain.

Better have it checked. I don't want to scare you, but knife type pains sometimes indicate infection.
