I personally think Durant fits the system best. They need a pure 3pt shooter and Durant is that. He can also take any defender to the basket. He is basically Kevin garnett with a better shot. Oden doesnt show enough potential on the offensive end. The celtics could use a dominant big man. If they do not end up getting either, they should go for Acie Law or Brandon Rush.......What do you think?

personally i think they might want to go for jared dudley of BC for the following reasons. He is a PF and he can shoot the three. He is a 45% three point shooter and that is what boston needs. Also he gets a block or two a game. And to me he has the most knowledge in college right now, he just makes the smartest decisions and knows what to do in all situations. Lastly he is a 75% free throw shooter and is 6'7" and gets 8.4 rebounds per game.
To me Greg Oden could use another year because this year his injury problems has stopped him from performing his best and would make him slip down in the draft. and for durant he just needs to start eating and start lifting weights or something. he is 6'9'' and weighs 225 to me that is skinny and if u see him on tv it looks like he could only be 205. The theory the tv adds ten pounds to ppl might be the opposite for durant. I just think he can use a yearto get bigger and be a bigger threat in the paint.

I say that they should go with Greg Oden because they Celtics have not had an iside presence since the likes of Tony Batie (does he even count?). An inside prescence would give the Celtics another dimension. Right now, Paul Pierce is money from outside and from mid-range. If they got an inside machine like Oden, who is absolutely huge, Pierce would learn to give the ball inside more. Oden would also give the Celtics a lot more blocks and better defense than they have right now. Secondly, I don't think that they should take Durant even though he is multidimensional because I dont believe that Durant would be big enough or strong enough to compete with the "Shaqs" of the NBA. He would not be able to work the ball inside as easy as he does now. With this, his game would most likely be limited to an outside range shooter, and clearly, this would clash with the attitude of Pierce, with both wanting the ball all the time to pop threes.

the opportunities are the celtics gets the 1st %.. rather they might desire to %. up Greg Oden. He grew to become into the single saving grace for OSU interior the Championship pastime. He thoroughly ruled whoever grew to become into guarding him. His in straight forward terms knock is the certainty that he has a tendency to get into foul hardship. regardless of the undeniable fact that, that's real looking to assume on condition that he anchors their protection and blocks or annoying circumstances especially lots each shot interior the paint. to no longer point out that he's an outstanding rebounder, which could additionally make a contribution to his foul hardship specifically on the offensive end (over-the-back). The Celtics had a undesirable 12 months, vast ask your self? No, Paul Pierce grew to become into injured quite some the 12 months and albeit they don't have a dominate vast guy. If the Celtics get Oden and Pierce keeps to be healthful they have a brilliant danger to make the playoffs next 12 months, enormously pondering they're interior the eastern convention.

Durant. Durant has the outside touch and can take any defender to the basket. He reminds me of Corey Maggete. Oden is not that. I think they should go with Brandon Rush

they should get durant. the celtics need someone who shoot and drive to the basket. oden is good, but jefferson is getting better in offense and defense. and by the end of the season, he'll probably establish himself as the celtics big man for next season

I would think they would draft Oden and make a nasty one two punch down low with Oden and Al Jefferson. They already have P-squared at the forward position and he can shoot the rock. Starting five: Oden. Jefferson. Gomes. Pierce. West.

I'm gonna go with Odgen. When you get the the NBA, discipline is big, and I don't really think Kevin Durant has that kind of discipline.

if they drafted somebody else besides one of them then they need to be slapped in the face. Durant is tough to guard at 6'9 and is good defensively and pierce gets hurt alot so i would get durant
