First of all 15 years old is under the legal drinking age for a reason so there is one reason to be upset. Second of all, there is no possible way that six shots of vodka wouldnt have an affect on anyone. Might be better off not dating someone that drinks and drinks to that extent.

If he's drinking that much at 15 and doesn't just throw it up, he's got a very serious health problem called alcoholism. It's kind of like an allergy that effects the body by making it crave a lot of alcohol after even a tiny taste. One of my friends said he drank to the point where he passed out the first time he tried alcohol, at age 13. It took him more than 20 years to get his life back, with the help of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Your friend needs help. Seriously. You need to tell a parent or teacher what is happening so he can get help before he really messes up his life. If you care even a little bit about him as a friend, make sure a RESPONSIBLE adult knows about this -- not a parent who drinks compulsively himself, for example.
Probably the only cure is for him to avoid alcohol completely, probably for the rest of his life. If he doesn't want to commit to doing that, then you should distance yourself from him, as he will only break the hearts of the people who care for him. He needs help with this the same way he would need help for diabetes or cancer. It's not funny and it's not trivial. He has as major a health problem as he would if he had a life-threatening infection.

A 15 yr old should not be drinking at all! 6 shots of vodka and he didn't get buzzed???
You have every right to be upset! Be upset at the fact that he gave in to peer pressure, be upset that he didn't respect the way you feel. Alcohol is very dangerous.,,not only does it impair your senses it causes tons of other problems..in some instances even death.

Why should you be upset ? He's not your boyfriend now and it was him that did something STUPID. Six shots of vodka, taken straight (no mixer) and fast could really mess up a 15 year old, especially if he hasn't drank before. He may have just done this, or said he did it, for your sympathies - don't show him any unless you do want to get back with him.

well first off, do you have any actuall proof that he did this? maybe he is just trying to ruffle you to see what happens. if thats the case, he is a jerk.
if you do have proof that he did this, it kind of depends on how big he is. differant body weights change the effect the alcohol has on the body. the more you weigh, the less likely it is to effect you. if he is your average 15 year old, then it probably affected him more than he is letting on. however, when it all boils down too it, you dont really have a right to be angry with him, as you are no longer together. you do however have every right to be concerned, as he is underage. if it is of real concern to you and you have proof, go ahead and let someone know who can do something about it.

I did the exact same thing the first time I drank. I took 6 shots and didn't feel anything. Strangely, now that i'm older, that same amount of alcohol would get me really drunk.
I really don't know why this is. It could be that he just doesn't know what being drunk should feel like so he acted normal.

if it was his first time to drink 6 shots would of got him drunk unless he is really big. As far as getting upset a lot of teenagers experiment with alcohol. I wouldn't be upset with him but that is my opinion

you have a definite right to your feelings, like upsettedness.
but do you have a right to get mad or yell at him?
he's not your boyfriend. you could tell him your concern.
it depends on how long between each shot.
i don't believe he had them all at the same time and didn't feel it.
but over a whole day it could happen.
honestly if you are not "with" a person, you can only advise them as a friend that such drinking is dangerous.

We all do some really stupid things at 15. Most of us still do some really stupid things even when we're 47. Know that he was upset and really messed up to begin with. Cut him some slack, but don't treat him like he's dirt either. Be patient and calm down. see what happens... And you can feel however you choose, but you cannot tell him what to do.
