a blue backgrond appears when ever i am printing da info.how do i get da blue backgrond of in microsoft wrd???

Firstly, don't copy straight from Wikipedia into a school report. You need to use your own words to avoid plagiarism. Also, be aware that Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, so it might not be accurate. You should use it as background material, but seek out original sources to actually cite in your school work.

However, if you really want to do this and risk failing your project, try clicking the "printable version" link in the left hand sidebar since you can copy from that without the formatting you get with the normal view.

Is it blue on the screen too?

Try selecting the text that with the blue background. Go to the Format menu > Borders and Shading > Shading tab. Choose No Fill.

hey maybe it's your printer because my friend has the same problem except her background is pinl so I told her to uses the schools printer instead.
Like you could get a USB(memory stick) and just save your work in your USB and just print it off in school.
