The hypothalamus is a small area of the brain that produces a variety of important hormones that interact in a complex way with other hormone producing parts of the body.

One doesn't "activate" the hypthalamus. That sounds very "new agey" to me.

If your hypothalmus is under or over-active, you will have symptoms of disease, depending on which neurohoromone is being affected.

you dont need to. your hypothalmus controls qutie a few major functions in your body, if it wasnt working correctly youd definetly know it (if you werent dead). i agree with psychodelic chicken 100% and whoever gave her a thumbs down is a moron

this question is ridiculous. you dont just activate your hypothalamus, it is always in action doing various functions.
