I just went in to feed my fish and found my algae eater completely dry behind my tank. Did he jump out?? He ususally never moved...

yea, they can jump when they get scared or shocked.

Many pleco are well known for jumping. In addition Oto, and other algae eaters are prone to as well. Honestly any fish may do it so keep a lid on the tank.

They aren't really known as jumpers but any fish can jump. Sounds like that's what happened to him.

Most fish can because 4 of mine died cause of it.....^^,
