My political views have changed several times over my lifetime. When I was younger, I was very conservative (as my parents were) and I swung very liberal in my late teens and early twenties. I have now been libertarian for a year or so, and I am fairly comfortable there. I am a reader and researcher by nature and have extensively researched liberal, conservative, socialist, and libertarian beliefs, and libertarianism is the best fit.
If you're curious about political beliefs, the World's Smallest Political Quiz is amazing! I'll post it below.

some yes, some no. The older I get the more my views change. I look around and notice teens today and think 'MY GOD, WAS I REALLY LIKE THAT", but now that I have children of my own, its more "oh crap, they are going to be like that", so the views I had on child rearing have changed drastically in the last few years.
My views on faith, have definitely changed and gotten much stronger than in my youth, when I was a self proclaimed Atheist. Now I am a firm believer in Christ, but believe all religions have some merit.
My political views are pretty much the same though. I've always been more of a Conservative-Liberal.

Sure. I like to fancy myself as having a scientific mind, if you show me the evidence, and you convince me, if I thought something, but over time have observed it to be probably false,
I will change my mind.

There are things I thought only 5 years ago were true and I was SO wrong!
And I was a real idiot 10 years ago.
Hopefully, everyone can have a flexible mind and grow in wisdom with the fortitude of their own experience and observation and ability to comprehend new information in order to alter old, set in, false thinking.
Sometimes even from Childhood!--I had to deprogram my mind from countless false things I was taught in childhood. The human mind is an interesting thing.

I have core values that are set in stone because a good foundation is important. The rest well I believe in remodeling when the old no longer works the way it was intended. Fresh paint and fresh ideas keep your environment enjoyable.

My views have changed. I used to be wide eyed and thought the world was full of swell people. Mind you ,I grew up with parents who went through WW2 and I still tried to believe the world was not that bad. As I got older I saw the world for what it was and realized there are a lot s**t heads out there. I've a more realistic vision of the world now.

There are about a half-dozens beliefs I hold that are effectively set in stone. Belief in God. Belief in free will and freedom of choice. Belief in the value of diversity. A few others.

Anything else is pretty much subject to change, with or without notice.

I'm trained in scientific method.
They are always open to question and change.
I am also trained in logic (symbolic and formal).
I am not open to illogical or careless reasoning.
I have also read every book on every religion or philosophy I can find.
I have already opened my mind to every view I can, and will continue to do so for my own enjoyment and enlightenment.

It depends on the situation. My views may change, they may not, they may get even more set. Who knows. I'm open to new information and new points of view.

If I can find compelling reason to change my views on issues which can be objectively judged, I'll do so. However, moral and subjective issues are generally another matter. Without serious changes to my personal experiences, I doubt they will change drastically.

I'm not dogmatic. If I find out I'm wrong, I will change my views. It's the most practical way of dealing with the world. Everyone should do the same.
