i dont think it is popular in the uk. it is hardly ever in the charts.
i guess people like leanne rimes, shania twain and the johnny cash movie have made it slightly more popular but not by much.
i guess some people like it but i cant think of any place that plays it anywhere apart from linedancing classes and a specialist digital radio station.
personally i dont own any country music. i dont like it.
