Can Dsl internet slow down if you download too many programs onto your pc? Thanks. Also, what programs can I download to eliminate junk on my computer and all of that. Thanks.

Either when you use up all the space in your Hard Drive, or you reach "download limit" set by your internet service provider's plan.

IMHO when using MS_W it used up a lot more space quicker than linux, again depends on the space available.

Empty your trash cans, clean your browsers, set your computer to fully remove junk after a few weeks or days.

What needs be done depends on your OS.
