I am not talking about the theory of intelligent design tough if you want to comment on that it's alright.

The above was supposed to say 'though' if you want to comment on it ...not 'tough'.

It is my contention that we are the intelligent aspect of the universe.
Some time in the past the universe some way developed the capacity to become aware of itself.
It started with basic life, then evolved into intelligent, objective entities which is us and millions of other intelligent life form through out the universe.
We are the eyes and ears of the universe,it's consciousness and awareness.

There isn't any real intelligence on earth, so what makes you think the universe is any different?

An "intelligent universe" sounds like just another heapin' helpin' of newage hooey though, if you want a more serious answer.

I reject it completely.

It may sound "nice" and comforting, but that is no basis for determining truth. It seems to imply that humans are here for a reason. if the asteroid hadnt hit 65 million years ago, humans would not be here. Mammals would likeyl still be mouse-sized. I can't buy that the asteroid was sent here on purpose.

I doubt it is a theory. Sounds more like conjecture. I am using theory in it's accepted scientific, rather than vernacular, sense.

i'm not familiar with that theory. if you ask this question again i would explain what the theory is so more people can give you an answer.
