The Spartans were from Sparta in Greece. The Spartans were some of the fiercest land warriors of the ancient world. Their city-state was ruled by a duel-kingship and was basically a dictatorship. Children were taken as young as six years old to begin their training as warriors.

The Trojans were from troy which is in modern day north Turkey. Much of their culture is shrouded in mystery.

Sparta is a city in southern Greece. In antiquity it was a Dorian Greek military state, originally centered in Laconia. During Classical times Sparta had reached the status of a military superpower,[1][2] and by overpowering both the Athenian and Persian Empires, she regarded herself as the natural protector of Greece.[3] Laconia or Lacedaemon (Λακεδαίμων) was the name of the wider city-state centered at the city of Sparta, though the name "Sparta" is now used for both. The Spartan Kings were believed to be the direct descendants of Heracles.[4]

The city of Sparta lies at the southern end of the central Laconian plain, on the right bank of the river Evrotas. The site was strategically located; guarded from three sides by mountains and controlling the routes by which invading armies could penetrate Laconia and the southern Peloponnesus via the Langhda Pass over Mt Taygetus. At the same time, its distance from the sea—Sparta is 27 miles from its seaport, Gythium—made it difficult to blockade.

Troy is a legendary city and center of the Trojan War, as described in the Epic Cycle, and especially in the Iliad, one of the two epic poems attributed to Homer.

Today it is the name of an archaeological site, the traditional location of Homeric Troy, Truva, in Hisarlık in Anatolia, close to the seacoast in what is now Çanakkale province in northwest Turkey, southwest of the Dardanelles under Mount Ida.

A new city of Ilium was founded on the site in the reign of the Roman Emperor Augustus. It flourished until the establishment of Constantinople and declined gradually during Byzantine times.

In the 1870s the German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann excavated the area. Later excavations revealed several cities built in succession to each other. One of the earlier cities (Troy VII) is often identified with Homeric Troy. While such an identity is disputed, the site has been successfully identified with the city called Wilusa in Hittite texts; Ilion (which goes back to earlier Wilion with a digamma) is thought to be the Greek rendition of that name.

The archaeological site of Troy was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1998.

So, Basically Sparta and Troy are different places.

No the spartans helped kill all the trojans to the last man woman and child, thats why there are still spartans but no trojans today. Why did they kill them you ask, cause they could, and cause they took the most beautiful woman in the world away from them, that teed them off just a bit.
