Each of the three measures of central tendency—the mean, the median, and the mode—are more appropriate for certain populations than others.

Can you guys give me some exemples of populations where it would be the most appropriate indication of central tendency for each type of measure, .

this is all I know :
for mean
figuring out the average births couple per year in the US
anything with the word average.
for mode
10 in the class have one x chromosome(they are males)
20 in the class have two x chromosomes(they are girls)
acording to the mean,
the average kid in the class has 1.6666666 x chromosomes.
just find the mode
which is two x chromosomes

Mean=average.you get it by adding all of the numbers and divide your answer by the number of the numbers you added.exp:the mean of 30,24,20=24.2 Median=the middle number.you order them from least to greatest and and find the middle number. exp:the median of 30,24,20=24 Mode=the number that occurs most.exp:the mode of 30,24,20=there is no mode.
