pujols has the potential to be the best ever, no question. He will have the most prolific stats of all time when it's all said and done if he stays healthy. Ted Williams had a very impressive career also. He may be the best hitter of all time at this point. ALso Bonds is extraordinary, he was a hall of famer before the roids allegations in my opinion and is the best Ive ever seen. Pujols will have better numbers when his career is over though.

obviously almost evrybody will say pujols, and i agree. If you look at his numbers, he contends with a couple of people for best ball player in history. his numbers in his rookie years were the same as some all stars in their prime. however because he's in the league he doesn't give others a fair chance. Ryan Howard's first full year in the majors pulled 58 homers and i don't expect that to slow down. If he keeps improving he might be in a close race with Pujols. Both are for sure future hall of famers.

Personally I like Albert Pujols but I also play first base for a high school team and get some tips from watching him play. If you go by stats Derek Jeter. Gold Glove, Lots of steals and always has a great batting average. My favorite pitcher is John Smoltz.
