I mean, provided that I have the grades, extra-curriculars etc., will I be seriously considered for admission as are Arts and Science majors?

Your major doesn't matter. If you have excellent grades in the med school prereq class, a high MCAT, and the extra currics and stuff, you'll be fine with a B.Comm degree.

I'm sorry but what is B.Comm?

They usually like to see students with degrees in Biology,Chemistry, and other sciences
