Reason I'm asking is that he's brought up some websites I visited without having mentioned said sites to him previously. If he's aware of those, then God only knows where else I've been. I use Privacy Guardian once a day to wipe my history, but I'm not sure if that 's enough. I want to know if there's some other program he's using to track my history and how can I go about disabling it or tricking it. I know this is stupid, but being 26 years old, I don't think my internet use is any of his business. I don't care where he goes and the same should apply to me. Any ideas?

I should mention that I do own my own computer. He's viewing the history from his computer. Also, I do have a job...two in fact. Third, I live at home because I'm saving up enough money for a down payment on a house because I refuse throw away money on rent.

Look in startup apps : start/run,type: MSCONFIG , go to startup ( or use CodeStuff Starter = http://codestuff.mirrorz.com ) and look for any unusual looking apps or something that says keylogger and disable it.
Also Spybot - Search & Destroy (cn) = http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10122137.html?part=104443&subj=dlpage&tag=button = safer-networking.org and . =
Spy Sweeper - (FREE TRIAL PERIOD) = http://www.webattack.com/Shareware/security/swantispy.html
= http://www.webroot.com/wb/products/spysweeper/index.php
will detect some of them,
AND = KL-Detector - (Win XP + 2K only = http://dewasoft.com/privacy/kldetector.htm
AND this program should also help: = Advanced Anti Spy = http://www.anti-keylogger.net = " You can download trial (unregistered) program copy from our web site at any time. Trial copy is fully functional during trial period and differs from registered copy by presence of pop up warning messages ONLY. There are two types of key loggers: hardware and software. The former is a physical device that is plugged between the keyboard and the PC. It is impossible to use a computer program to detect a hardware keylogger. You have to do a physical inspection for that. But you can detect a software keylogger. Fortunately it is easy to detect a hardware keylogger. A quick check at the back of the PC will do. So we can concentrate our efforts on the software ones."

On my router, a Netgear RP614, I can set up content filtering that will also record the last 128 websites that were allowed or blocked. Now 128 isn't much, but could be enough to get you in trouble. I suspect that other routers have a capability for reporting which websites have been accessed through it.
BTW, I'm 26 and living at home too. I'm fortunate enough that my parents don't know how to check what websites I go to and don't care. But I am still respectful enough not to look at anything "inappropriate" when they're in the room. Not sure how your dad's figuring out your internet usage if you are careful enough to wipe out you browsing history, cache, and temp files, besides using something like what I mentioned in the first paragraph.

clear ur history every time u go to sites. u probably look at porn anyway...
plus, there is this great thing that lets you clear cookies/hard drive. if u clear ur whole hard drive...dont do that...try looking this u on the internet. and why would ur dad do that anyway. tell him its none of his business. but i mean u problably looked at porn so... -_-
suggestion: get a laptop with ur own cheap internet. and always take it with u. unless u go to the YMCA or something like that.

There are keystroke tracking programs. Some ISP's let the account holder see what sites have been visited from their accounts. If you want to surf completely invisible to him, you are going to have to get your own computer and ISP.
