You are wrong on sooooo many levels. Like the guy above me said, when he's in they win, when he's out, the team is lost. Diaw, Barbosa, and Marion didn't produce jack before Nash. Look at Quentin Richardson. The MVP award is givin to the best player of a particular regular season. Doesn't mention anything about how he did in the post-season or weather or not they will one day be considered "Great". The reason Nash wins is pretty damn obvious. Your probably a Kobe lover who thinks he gets snubbed every year. If you can't figure out why Nash is great and why he won 2 (about to be 3) MVP awards, then you need to learn a little more about the Game. It's not all about flash, it's about the fundamentals and team play.

Dude you have'nt got a clue. Steve Nash is the reason why Diaw, Marion, Barbosa, Amare are so good do you have any idea what a pure point guard is. Avery Johnson, John Stockton I can go all night. Nash can play the point and the number 2 spot, not to mention he only six foot tall.

No, just no. First off, look at the game records, seems when he's there they win. He brings out the best in his team mates. I bet you think, Kobe's the best, right? If so, I know exactly what your problem is, your looking at a singe person's stats, not at the whole team's stats when the player isn't there compared to when he is. Nash brings out the best in his team, he makes it so they all can contribute. He helps them win by drawing the defenders and passing to the open man, instead of standing there, and saying pass me the ball so I can shoot. In conclusion, your mistaken, Steve Nash isn't overrated, hes an amazing player, who deserves all the credit he gets.
Ohh, and the whole teammate problem, they still one with out Amare (although i admit, hes a great player/addition to the team). Look, how Kobe's doing without out his team to pass him the ball. Horrible.

first of all, the suns' offense IS Steve Nash. the whole offense seems to slow down whenever Nash is out. frankly, i cannot think of a player now that makes everybody else better (probably Jason Kidd - but still lacks that jump shot). you maybe thinking that he lacks the defensive ability but so is iverson (and he won an MVP award too) before Nash came to phoenix, they have Marion-stoudemire-marbury and where did it get them? nowhere. out marbury in Nash and the result is a beautiful and exciting running offense that changed a number of NBA rules. steve nash is the man!

Maybe Nash MADE Diaw good. He is one of the best in the NBA.

with nash they win and without him they lose, they were able to still win when stoudamire was out but they lose whenever nash is injured so i dont think hes overrated
