I thought so, but on refection, the older I get, frequently exasperated with the garbage that gets slung and has to be dealt with, in order to try and achieve a mellow existence.

No, just the opposite, I used to be so even tempered, now I seem to be a candidate for the grumpy old woman award. I keep telling myself it's just a phase I'm going through, and I'll be back to normal soon then grow old gracefully.

I never suffered fools gladly, but I HAVE become much more mellow and tolerant with age. i like myself better too.

Definitely, I've even been told that I have a calming affect in potentially difficult situations (at work) which is something I never had when I was younger.
