My 25 pound mongrel dog. She was the fastest, most agile, and most playful dog you'll ever see, and yet she didn't leave the acreage and was amazingly obedient and submissive. A bit excitable, but get her playing and she'd go on forever. She was a great companion for kids, who'd play outside the whole day.

Just shows the benefits of adopting an adult mutt. I could never expect any $700 purebred to be a good a dog as she was.

My cat Kibby, who I had for 17 years. She would lick my face when I came in the door and bent down to hug her, and she would walk sideways. She also would yowl at 3 am, dart across my apartment, and jump straight into the bath tub. Good times!

My first rabbit Focker would fall asleep upside down in my arms (very trusting and relaxed for a rabbit), and run around in figure 8's around my feet. He also liked to "snuggle" and jump straight up in the air and do a 180 (called a "binky").

I think pets are aswesome.

I have an Abyssinian cat; he's almost 16 years old, but even now he still plays with feather toys and such. When he was a kitten, he was totally goofy and fun; now he's just mellowed.

My last cat. She would play hide and seek with me, make this distinctive noise to alert me when she found a bug in the apartment, bring toys to me when she wanted to play and tap my leg to get my attention, start closing her eyes and yawn when I'd tell her it was sleepy time, drink her water sometimes by patting the top of it with her paw and then licking it off, etc.
