Well if u want one that will bring tears to ur eyes, definatly gotta be Mad world by Michael Andrews. I cant keep the tears down in that. Its from the sound track of Donnie Darko
and heres a few lines:
I think its kind of funny, I think its kind of sad, that all my dreams of dying are the best Ive ever had...
ILL stop there, but all it is is vocal and pianno, really gets to you. So sorry about what happened, you have my sympathy and prayer, hope this helps,

A friend on Yahoo,

with or without you by u2- keane also do a heart breaking version on the new radio 1 cd,

most of keanes first album

annie lennox -no more I love yous, why and love song for a vampire (only able to get this on the dracular sound track album) , and most of the album called bare

kelly clarkson- becasue of you

jj72- most of the i to the sky album

eurthymics- miracle of love, 17 again and angel

coldplay- most of their last album- especially fix you

simon and garfunkle- bridge over troubled water and the sound of silence

robbie williams (no not angels!!) know no fear

betty midler(I think!) -you are the wind beneath my wings

the corrs have on their album out of blue- a non wordrd song which is just them on their instruments and it is SO SO SAD!

christina aguilara- beautiful

britney spears lucky and there is another one she relased I cannot remember the name of where she tries to kill herslf in the bath and her boyfriend tries to save her- it was released about 2 years ago, its got piano playing as oppose to guitar playing in it.

tori amos- little earth quakes and much of her albums- try listening to some of them, they'll make you cry- then go to her website and read how many of them were written on experience of others.

Sting/police- every step you take

and for classical music: faures requiem, mozarts requiem, john rutters requiem (most requiems are sad as they are written around death and this is why thy are called requiems)

though the ones that will really kill are the ones which remind you of her- which you listened to together or she sang out loud as grans do, or you havent heard since you last saw her.
You wont be aware of what these are until you hear them and suddenly its like something flew up and smacked you in the face.

dream a little dream of me lots of people have sung that - cos you can dream about her and think nice things and she'll always be there
my love is your love - whitney - believe it or not it helped me through my friend's death
somewhere over the rainbow - eva cassidy or the great judy garland - cos that's where she is

quite sad songs but a little bit optimistic as well - you can cry and smile a bit at the same time
