The Europeans may have "stolen" America from the Native Americans, but they allowed other people to live in it with them. Why do you think America is called "the land of opportunity"? Because any immigrant can come into the United States with nothing but the clothes on their back, and become successful. The land wasn't stolen, just made better.

If one face's reality and remembers what we have learned in our History classes in school, it was the "English" in Great Britian that decided to discover "New Lands" and take what wasn't theirs in the first place. The land actually belonged (if you want to get technical) to the American Indians. But when "man" gets greedy for more then they take (by force) what they want regardless of whom might own it. Take a trip back in the past and see what took place in Europe at different time periods. This is how their monarchy's became richer not only in wealth but with land also. The Indians became the "British" slaves first. when that wasn't enough then they decided to venture to other lands and take the people from their homes and bring them to "America" and worked the land that the British was to lazy to do. Then we had the Revolutionary War because the settlers were tired of the British laws and their Kings rules so they created their own type of Government and fought and died for what they believed. But... bad habits are hard to break so the settlers and our Founders of the Constitution didn't "think" that slavery was such a "bad idea" since it was already a habit in England. So they kept the idea but didn't realize that the Indians weren't going to take this sitting down so do speak and fought back so...they went elsewhere to find "others" to do their dirty work. God didn't play a roll in this issue. This was all "mans" dirty work. "Man" gets greedy. They take what isn't theirs and they kill for what they want in the name of "Greed". Where there is "Greed" there is "Power". The more you get, the more you want and you don't care who gets in the way as long as it's yours in the end. "Man" has done this way of thinking for decades. It's nothing new. The American Indians fought for their land and what was theirs and the "white man" so do speak took it anyway and left the Indians with "nothing". In my opinion...when our Forefathers wrote the Constitution they forgot one major issue. They might have stated that "All men were created equal" but they didn't consider the fact that the "Indians" should have been included as well. Along with the African Americans that were brought to America against their own will and forceably taken from their homes and family. Our Forefathers had the right "ideals" when they wanted a "new government" a land for the "free" but they neglected to include "everyone". We can't change the "past" and unforunately "things happen for a reason". Not always a good reason but for a reason. Now we have the opportunity to make this country of ours "a better place" than what it was and to try to "make up" for the things that did occur in the past if people could just work together instead of being against each other.
