i just changed my spark plugs and wires , had a bit of a problema nd now i am not sure if my wires are in the right spot , how can i tell if my timing got messed up ?

oh,you will know if the firing order is wrong.the engine will jump around.

spark plug wires dont affect timing but if you messed the up it will misfire.

With the engine idling, unplug one sparkplug wire from the distributor cap.
If, you unplug one, and the engine runs worse, that one is OK, plug it back in.
If you unplug one and nothing happens, leave it unplugged.
Continue this untill you've tried all of them.
Now, switch them arround. (the unlpugged ones)
