Two different measures.
4 feet is length - the height of a child

cubic feet measures volume - like how much water a bucket can hold.

1 cubic foot is the volume of a cube with dimensions 1 ft x 1 ft x 1 ft

If your talking about a 4 ft. cube, it would be 4X4X4 or 64 cu. ft.

If your talking about 4 feet, it would depend on how big your feet are.
