I have a friend that I don't play with her anymore ever since last year had been always lonely ever since the starting of the 1st trimester and told me that she REALLY can't take that anymore.She told me to just play with my new friends and not
to cheer her up just because she doesn't want to play with a person if the person just want to cheer her up.

Then don't constantly try to cheer her up.
Be a friend and make her feel wanted, give her a shoulder to lean on, however you want to put it.

It sounds like she just wants a friend to like her and not because they feel sorry for her because she is lonely,,,
