Go to a travel site like "Travelocity" and find out which airlines go from here to there and the price to book. If it is continental:: then type ContenintalAirlines.com into your browser and hit that "search web" button. The ask continental directly how much they want for a ticket without travelocity getting a cut off the top. 9 times out of ten, your ticket will be a whole lot cheaper if you buy it from the airline cutting out that profiteering middleman serving as a "travel" site. For some things I use one of these "agents" when I need round trip + hotel and car as it is easier if they have a cheap price. But You still pay extra for "easy".

The more stops you have, the cheaper the fares.
So say you're going to take United Airlines.........
1) Fly from Norfolk into Washington, DC.
2) Then fly from Washington to Houston.

If you do that, just make sure you have at least 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours in between flights. That way if there are delays due to weather, air traffic flow, or mechanical, then you may make your flight on time.
