When you talk about your mind "running" it makes me think "anxiety." I have an anxiety disorder and I really do understand what you are going through. I went to a psychologist, who recommended me to a psychiatrist, who put me on Celexa, which is an antidepressant that helps with depression as well as anxiety. It has completely turned my life around! I feel like a new person and I love my life again. For me the side effects have been very very minor, as in I haven't noticed ANY adverse affects other than being extra thirsty from time to time. It is also very inexpensive- the generic brand is $4 for a month supply at Walmart.
Not only am I happy but I am also sleeping better than I ever have. I still have minor sleep problems but no longer because of a "running" mind.
Also, I have to tell you that the more I exercise the less anxious I feel. Now that I have been taking Celexa for over a year I no longer have chronic anxiety, but if I'm going through something really stressful it can creep up. If I go to the gym I feel a million times better.
I'm sorry that you have to go through this, I know how hard it is and I will keep you in my prayers. I really encourage you to get help from a psychiatrist or psychologist, and don't be afraid of the side-effects of medication- they are minor compared to living with anxiety and depression. Good luck!!

Since you are on medication, I am sure you are seeing a doctor.

Do you have some one to talk to?

There are few things that lift people out of depression.

1. Favourite foods(watch the calorie ).
2. Tranquil walk.
3. Good music.
4. Reading or seeing a comedy.
5. Do not go to bed till you get real sleepy till then read a good book that you can enjoy or see a movie on the TV. DVD or VCR, get ready for bed time and then just stop what you are doing and go to bed as soon as you feel sleepy.
6. All the material can be check out free of charge from your library, so visit it once a week or so.

You need to watch a movie called the secret and it will explain what is happening with you. Please gt it i promise it will help. Also for sleep,

just wanted to let you know of a miracle pill that puts you to sleep, available over the counter, is actually very very beneficial for your health, and is only 3 bucks!! I had trouble falling asleep for years. I would lay in bed, and think and think and think for hours before I could fall asleep. It was literally driving me crazy!! I had tried every over the counter sleeping pill on the market and nothing helped. I turned to Nyquil and that did the trick. I had been drinking Nyquil almost every night to go to sleep until I stumbled upon this miracle sanity saving nutritional supplement named MELATONIN. And you can buy it at any GNC health food store. I advocate GNC because the melatonin they use goes through 85 different quality checks before its bottled. Buy the sublingual melatonin. The kind that dissolves underneath your tongue tastes like cherries and it’s good for you!! I was shocked at the effectiveness in putting me to sleep. If you have any questions before you buy it the sales associate at GNC should be able to answer any questions you have. It comes in 1 mg, I take 2 right before bed. The only side effects are weird dreams for the first two nights if any at all. You must take the sublingual kind from GNC otherwise it might not work because of quality and potency, should be taken at regular bedtimes in the evening.
God Bless
P.S. after you try it and it works don’t forget to tell others about it. You could be saving someone else’s Sanity

yep, there are many different kinds of therapys for depression. some work better on some people. the main thing to realize is that depression is horrible, but it can be managed. the most important step is that you have recognized a problem. the rest is easy, but you need to make a list of every symptom you have to take to the dr with you. remember, it is also OK to change dr's if you dont get the treatment you need. dr's are humans, with all the prejudices and problems that all humans have. my wife's depression got bad, but her dr didnt have much experience with depression, so she went shopping for a dr. after 6 tries, she found someone she can really feel comfortable and trust. never forget the wonderful words from "grover" on sesame street: "where there is life, there is hope"

Everyone gets this way at one point in time or another. Some prescription drugs work differently on different people. Talk with your doctor. Some anti-depressants can actually depress you more. Exercise is a great way to deal with stress. Talk with your doctor about adding a sleep aid to help you sleep at night.

Go to a good yoga institute and start doing internal travelling every morning do yoga and meditation which can solve half your problem, start dairy writing every night before sleep it mind sound silly but this the best exercise as you might not have any proper friend to whom you can confess everything and also you might not have any person concerned about you are your feelings this is a temporary face in every humans life for a realisation that they have come alone in this world and have lead further life as loner and die as one take things positively and see the difference. give importance to your hobbies and develop it in your free times divert yourself into activities of your interest

would you rather have side affects from a pill or no life?? How long have you been on Xanax? That prescription can cause depression and maybe all you need is to get off the anxiety pills to get better. You need to go back to the Dr and tell them EVERYTHING you said here. GO TO THE DOCTOR!

it particularly is obtrusive you could go away him. i think of you be attentive to that too. it particularly is in simple terms complicated i assume on account which you like him plenty and function this type of connection with you. yet with each step in existence it particularly is rarely ordinary. despite all and sundry tells you, you could make judgements for your self. you may rely on your self and be sturdy. the only way you will do it is from understanding you're a individual and not an extension of folk. kin, friends...they help in making your existence happier, yet they are not necessairly those that be certain whether or no longer it is nicely worth residing. you are the only that makes a decision to have a kin, to have friends. the only situation which could't be helped is the familiy you have been born in. yet people well-known walk out on their kin in the event that they're abusive sufficient, so as that happens too. it is plenty extra stable than it sounds, whether all of it beings with some massive leaps and a few small steps to maintain on with. shop secure and robust.

You need to talk to someone that you can have feedback with. We all have problems in our lives but we can get over them. I personally don't believe in anti-depressants if you can be helped in another way by getting to the core of the problem. Is there a priest you can see? or why don't you give the Samaritans a ring and they could put you in touch with someone who can help you get through what ever you are going through, I would like to help you myself but it is impossible this way, so try organizations that are there as listening ears like the Samaritans. Sometimes things get on top of you and you can't see away out but I am sure things will get better soon and you will get over this period in your life. We all have times like this when things get on top of us. Do you have a close friend that you can talk to that could perhaps help you try people who can be there for you and suggest what help you need at this trying time in your life.
