They should be supportive of each other; for behind every successful man is a good woman and behind every successful woman is a good man.
When a woman raises who kids decently that helps the man to acquire even more greatness, he's great she reaps the reward with him.
That's my opinion.

My husband always says stuff like this too....You guys are so full of yourselves....Let's realistically see what is happening in the home:

Men exhaust themselves at work for a meager paycheque that they bring in. Women cash the cheque, purchase household supplies and pay bills and then go out with the gals for a little bit of fun while again the man pays for the babysitter.

I raise my children to be leaders of tomorrow. They will have my tolerances, my goals and the beliefs for a strong female oriented society when they grow up. What does my husband have to say about this, very little...he's busy ruling the world.

I guess you need to reconsider what it means to be a stay at home mom raising kids with that of someone who rules the world.

Why should those be the only two options?

As a group, we women don't want to rule the world, and we may not want to stay home and raise the kids.

The point of feminism, which from the tone of your questions, you seem to have missed is that women only want the right to determine what is right for them indivually.

First off, this is a stupid question of extreme values. Secondly, both options are ridiculous. Everything would work better if we could all get along and agree on the choices that change the world. And we as couples (M/F, M/M, F/F, Single parents too) should be taking our responsibilities as parents to help raise the children. A woman can't do everything by herself and men shouldn't expect it. I work, take care of my 3 kids, go to school full time, and volunteer for the Red Cross. You're D A M N right my husband does his share of the responsibility to help take care of the kids. I need to be allowed time to myself to my things too.

Are you asking a question or are trying really badly to give a covert opinion? If woman wants to be in charge given the right opportunities and the best skills, then she has the same chance as any man. If a woman wants to raise a family she has the same chance as any man. Irrespective of gender men and women should be treated as equals in all areas of life.

We should be able to choose any career path we want. Whether it be for political asperations or if they are happy staying home and being a full time mom. Personally I want to stay home, but I sure as hell don't want anyone telling me that I can't do anything because I should be at home. That is the quickest way to piss me off.
