I'm on the fence on this one. Garcia would have taken off and run for that first down, he probably wouldn't have fumbled the ball twice, (losing on of them) and he probably wouldn't have been forcing the ball to Berrian so much.

Great question. They probably would had won the Super Bowl, because Garcia gives you a fighting chance to win the game. He wouldn't make the kind of mistakes Rex made, like the fumbles.

No.... It wasnt so much the offense in the Super Bowl as it was the defense. The Bears D couldnt get off the feild.
Also, The Indy offense settled for FG's but if needed they could have gotten TD's.

However, Rex did have a very up and DOWN year!!

id say the way he was playing this past year the bears would have had a much better chance. garcia is not a long term answer for any team though. he had something special with philly and i dont think we will hear much more from him in the future

jeff garcia would have made it a closer game but the bears d has to step it up they let the colts run the ball too much.

people talk about how the defense didn't do anything.......how do u expect any defense to dominate if they're on the field the whole game? our offense was hardly out there and that ****** our defense over.....we could have won if grossman played at least a little better and took care of the ball cuz if he hadn't thrown the interception at the end, it would have still been 22-17.........

No,Grossman just needs time to mature into his position,Hes been there for like 4 years but hes only played enough games to make him credible as a rookie!Everyone knows Griese should have played, but hey jus like a Cubs Fan would put it....wait till next year

Why is everyone hatin the d? If and defense was on the field almost the whole game against Manning and the Colts offense, what do you think is gonna happen?

No because the colts defense were playing good and the bears defense was giving up alot of points and first downs

The bears could have won the Super Bowl if Brian Griese was their QB. Oh yeah, they wouldn't have had to trade a good running back to get him. They had him on the bench.
