They fried the alternator rectifiers.
The rectifiers alow electricity to only travel ONE way.

Disconnect the alternator and try hooking the battery back up.
If you can, you need a new alternator.

When the battery cables got reversed it not only blew that fuse as it was supposed to do normally to protect the harness... from the kind of damage from happening that has happened to your car unfortunately...

somewhere you now have a major short which needs corrected to fix the car....

a section or pehaps more of damaged wire(s) will have to be fixed before a new fuse is installed...

when a wire burns up due to a major short like a battery being hookes up backwards or jumper cables being hooked up backwards.

a wire gets hot and burns up most harnesses have what they call a fuseable link wire that self sacrifices itself ..in case of a short to protect & prevent the rest of the harness from damage..

although the fuse on your Honda Accord was meant to perform same function it didn't probably because the voltage was traveling wrong direction thru the harness...

when a wire gets hot enough to burn it usually takes out another wire or 2 perhaps more in the same close area..

for example say you have 12 wires bundled together in your harness and end up where a major short has occured an originally started burning only one...

but that wire gets hot enough it could destroy another 5-6 wires bundled tightly next to it for a 4-8 inch span too...

you will need a wiring diagram to make sure you check everything if you do it yourself...

but I strongly recommend you take it to a repair shop that specializes in wiring repairs and pay them it will be faster and save you money and headached in the long run...

When this Happens there are Fused Links to protect car, these are smaller wires but wrraped and appear Larger
than regular Wire,The Red wires under Hood that are Hot all time ,are the Wires you are going to inspect,One has a dead short, feel the wires without turning on ign. or any thing.Rotate wire cause it may have burned out on back side,I fount the Red wire that crosses Firewall at center ,had burned into. The Fused links at about 6 inches from Starter, were fine. Here is another thing raise Hood at night in dark, have friend to put another fuse in and you look for Spark Arc; Some Lessons come Hard.

Disconnect the battery and put an ohmmeter across the terminals to see the short. Then disconnect stuff until the short goes away and you'll have it. Since most things go through switches, the alternator is a good thing to try first.

If all you probably did replaced into replace the battery, initiate hassle taking photos there. be sure you have the the main suitable option battery, and your cable connections are stable and not touching the rest.
