This i just a theory that i have made up. I believe halo 3 will take place on earth where the ark has been buried. The prophit of regret will take over the ark which is a mass destruction weopon. I believe the covenent is going to lure the flood to the earth to make it harder for the earth to survive. The master chief will then have to break into the ark and kill the prophit of regret. After that the covenent will fall, but the flood will be taken over the major cities of earth and gravemind is controlling them. The only way to completly kill the flood is to destroy gravemind. The master chief will have to travel to The halo with gravemind on it. While heading to gravemind cortana will contact master chief and tell him to leave halo that gravemind is not there( unknown to master cheif cortana has been brain washed by gravemind) Then master cheif gets there and kills gravemind. Then he has to escape the halo as fast as he could because cortana activated the destruction system.NoMoreSpac

Then master chief will escape before it explodes but cortana will be in controll of the rest of the 6 halos there are and she is activating the halos power to destroy earth. The last defence of earch travel to the master halo in hopes if they destroy that it will destroy all the other halos. They get there and there is a mass number of flood. The flood kill everyone but the master chief who has to fight his way to the halo control panel. When master chief gets there we will see a giant flood who he has to defeat. Then while he heads to the control panel cortana in control of a giant machine attacks him. Master chief has to destroy the machine and shut of the control of halo and put the virus in it to kill cortana. after that master chief makes it off halo just before it explodes. after the master halo is destroyed all the other ones are to. Then he goes back to earth and eliminates the remaining flood. This is my theory and just a theory nothing more please read it and review.
