The first day he is put onto the 25 man roster. Otherwise he will be added once he starts 5 games in the regular season or plays 10.

I hope he will be available soon I am in a AL only league with a 30 player roster so I would like to have him on my team.

it doesnt matter, since he shouldnt even be on your radar, if you need sosa on your team then you probably should have drafted better. there are countless better options than sammy.
