The distance between you has hurt her. She's "stepping out of your life for a little bit," while she heals. It doesn't sound like she knows why you've been cold to her! Looks like the two of you need to communicate, and soon. Your friendship can be saved if you talk about what's not going well. No one gets along ALL the time.

Shes saying much more in what she is NOT saying...

She finds you don't want her around. Thats obvious in her words. Also, she thinks its her fault somehow (" its best i step out of her life for a bit" - says it all).
You haven't specified the reason you havent been okay for those weeks, but i guess her reaction is a lil more intense than your action.
You both need communication.
Hope it works out for both of you as well!
Hugs,
V.

It's only natural for relationships to go through this. I would just take some time off from her and keep it really simple. You always want to be on good terms with people as much as possible. Hope this helps.

This isn't rocket science. She's doing exactly what she told your friend. She's gonna take a breather, she's wishing you all the best, then she's not going to contact you for a while. How long is that? How ever long she feels is necessary.

She's saying goodbye. Let her go and move on. Catch up with her in a few months if you want to.

Take care it's hard to loose a friend.

i know alot has to be going through your mind just recently some of my friends got mad at me for no reason and told me not to sit with them anymore....at first i thought it should go sit with them to just make them madder but i didnt i just sat with some other friends and they turned out to be way better. in your situation its best to just ask her what is on her mind and how she feels about you as a friend. ask her what she is telling you and what she wants you do do. good luck hope it all works out!

she's saying the next move is up to you! If you're the one who has been cold lately, then she's leaving the ball in your court to decide if you want hte friendship to work or not!
Good luck!

She is probably feeling rejected. Reach out to her if you are wanting to mend this relationship. Either way, she deserves an explaination of why it ended. And it will make you feel better as well.

Either she wants you to react or she's avoiding dealing with the issues between you.
