What's the actual PROOF that the activities you seek to curtail are the proximate cause of the 1.1 degree F warming that, on average, the earth has experienced over the last 110-120 years?
Not "well a lot of smart people believe it" - that's not proof.
Not "you're stupid to question it" - the Emperor's New Clothes strategy won't work here.
Not "you hate the planet." Intimidation won't work here.
Not "do you work for big oil?" I don't, nor is motive relevant - if it were, it would have to work both ways and there aren't too many people on the AGW side who haven't sought to curtail fossil fuel use for countless other reasons including global cooling.
Not "it's warmer" - it's NOT warmer than it was 1000 or 5000 years ago and in both instances there was no fossil fuel use and atmospheric CO2 levels were lower than today. It's warmer than it was 100 years ago but the issue is whether we are the CAUSE of it.
I'll take "we can't afford to wait" as an admission.

There's a couple things I'll say.
Global Warming is definitley real. Come up to Northern Canada or Northern Alaska and you'll see it. They predict in 20 years there's gonna be no glaciers North of 60, and the Greenland Ice sheet will have melted by about one third or even half. There's no debate on whether or not climate change is real.
Say this isn't caused by man made pollutatns... who likes these pollutants anyways? Don't you think it's a little irresonpsible to just keep destroying the environment just because it makes a buch? Not very sustainable or smart for future generations is it? What does that say about how we live? To me it means alot things have got to change. That's just my two cents.

Well, here in central Alaska, last January was the coldest in about 35 years. Our mean average temperature was *down* last year, almost a full degree. This winter started pretty mildly, but we got hit with a HORRIBLE, late cold snap and just came out of the coldest February in 100 years.
Do I believe our climate is changing? Of course I do - I see signs of it all over the place. Does man have an impact? Certainly. But is it *entirely* man's fault? I don't buy that for a second.
Don't forget that these are the same type of people who were bleating gloom and doom not all that long ago about the looming Ice Age that was supposed to wipe out mankind. I refuse to buy into the hype.

Shhh...What are you attempting to do, get rid of the exciting of attempting to smash economies and international locations in line with 0.5-*** technological know-how and theories. I mean come on guy, its obtrusive to everyone that each and absolutely everyone adult males are evil and no count number what we do and no count number how lots purifier the international is at present than it became say 40 years in the past would not count number. we could end using autos (decrease back to horses?), end making paper (decrease back to papyrus?), and for crying out loud, we are actually not flying jets anymore the two (different than needless to say Al Gore and Nancy Pelosi so as that they are in a position to tell something human beings how undesirable we are for burning fossil fuels). suitable, i'm meant to take heed to those assholes who do not even come close to to working in the direction of what they pontificate. consume my sh!t. i visit go away the main important carbon footprint I probable can in hopes that my young ones won't could go through by using those unbearably chilly winters here in Ohio. And via the way, for those of you who do not understand, we are in an ice age suitable now (ice age defined as heat on the equator and glaciers on the continents). We as human beings have on no account seen something different than an ice age and so we've not have been given any theory what the international ought to probable be like or develop into. yet do not enable something like this get in the way of time table-having lefties who want absolutely everyone to stay existence as they see in high quality condition. thank you and function an astonishing day.

Because Scientists cannot recreate global warming in a controlled setting to test the hypothesis to either prove or disprove it.

The evidence is there, you just choose not to see it. Have you even seen the graph and charts that show just what the lvl's of CO2 and CO are? (thats carbon dioxide and carbon monixide just incase you failed chemistry as well as life) There is a huge spike that is still spiking when you get to the part in human history when coal fires and cars come into play.
