It could be a cover of Whitney Houston's song "I Will Always Love You" from the movie The Bodyguard. Covers have been done by Vince Gill and Roger Whittaker. Hope that helps.

originally written and recorded by dolly parton. i will always love you. whitney houston did a cover of it but i don't know of any male artists that did it.
