I cannot figure out why. America is keeping them freed up so they can bash in more Lebanese and Palestinian people. I just did a search and I could find NONE, but perhaps I am wrong on that. There are some numbers here but varying according to news reports.

None. It would be a horrible mistake to have Israeli troops in Iraq. The Arab countries would all have a heart attack. Hey, that's a great way to resolve the middle east problem.

But seriously, it would make no sense to have Israeli troops in Iraq or Afghanistan. They would just provoke the terrorists.

Why would Israelis be in Iraq? Originally, we went to Iraq because we KNEW that Iraq had WMD's to attack us. When we didn't find one single WMD there, we claimed it had to do with liberating the Iraqi people. Neither of those reasons have to do with Israel. If Israel does have ground troops in Iraq, thanks for the support, but I thought Israel was smart enough to know to stay out of such a quagmire (not to mention, people would accuse the Israelis of oppressing the Iraqi people with their invasion)
