Congratulations! What you did in asking this question is an excellent way to practice learning a new language. I encourage you to continue doing this. You can also look for schools near you that offer ESL classes (many are free). I also recommend that you seek someone who is learning Spanish with English as her/his primary language - both of you keep each other motivated that way. You are able to share a common understanding of the challenges each of you face as well as developing and discovering effective techniques that help each of you achieve your goal. (and with any luck you both make a new friend, too.)
I'll bet you already know that the best way to learn a new skill is practice, practice, practice. Having a friend to converse with on a daily basis, one who shares a common goal, that of learning a new language might be the most fun and informative way to do this. This way both of you are teachers as well as students - equals. You can even do it all over the Internet (both written and oal) if that is most convenient.
Good luck. Contact me for more practice if you like.

Hi! Watching english programs and reading english novels are good practices to improve your knowledge about english. But what is most important is in the practical sense. What I mean is you should also practice english more often. Speak english all the time with your friens. Sometimes the environment affects you too. You may try to speak to native speakers. I bet there are foreigners around your place. Or if you couldnt find some, try to think in English all the time. And sometimes you should think aloud. I hope I was able to Help You!

You might want to talk to someone from a community college in your area. Usually they have free English classes.
