and what KIND of effect does it have on men?

How can we measure it? The effect is huge. Men are ruled by their eyes. We are visual-driven instead of audio-driven as women are.
P.S. It's 'effect' not 'affect'.

Well a lot sometimes, and most men like woman who are sexy, skinny or just any sizie but your face and how much make up you wear might but the wrong thing in his mind so but just a little and if he does not like you for who you are than he is not the man for you. but beauty affects men only about 30%.

Alot. Men are attracted to that. I see alot of pretty girls with not so pretty guys. Women like that too but I think guys like it more.

huge. If you are pretty, guys brain goes to mush. If guys have some self-esteem they take a more contolled response. If you are ugly then you get what you can get unless you are rich.

to be honest, not too much, on some guys it might, but i rekon most, not all guys, will go by their personality
i go by personality because i dont want to be with some1 who doesnt really acare about anything, except her and her looks.
i really dont mind what they look like, as long as theyre fun to be with and have a good, fun personality
